Obviously this skirt gives glamour, so it had my name written all over it. I'm not really a pink girl, gold is my color of choice when I want to make a 'girly' statement. This skirt was an exception. The mostly black with a dash of pink is definitely suited for girls who prefer not to dabble in too much pink. There are some really beautiful shades of pink, but let's be honest...fuchsia ain't it.
In addition, I decided to add my fishnet socks and black ZARA pumps. I've been a huge fan of socks and shoes for the longest time. It has a great vintage feel but can be interpreted effortlessly for the modern era.
All in all, easily another favorite.
Would you wear socks and shoes?
Nothing beats a great mural and a cute outfit. I haven't met a mural that I haven't pulled over the car and stopped traffic for. I get inspired by creativity in many forms. Fashion and murals go hand in hand, they tell stories without using a word.
The mural featured here is located on "the Junction" here in Brooklyn. The Junction is a cross section where many major streets connect, it's a hub for shopping, eating, and transportation. I like to think of it as a cultural hub, so when I saw this mural I new I had to feature it.
The outfit featured winter neutrals, which I'm definitely digging. I love my camel coal, olive pencil skirt, and blue-black faux fur vest. So very chic.
Do you love murals as much as I do?
