Hey, Ms. Joseph

Hey Y'all

Happy New Year! I know I've been a little scarce around these parts, but for good reason. The last few months of 2014 were defining for me. I was in my first semester of grad school, and in September I started at a new school for my day job. First impressions are everything, and I was determined to make a great one on both fronts.

For the year ahead I'm really focused on being a grown up and letting go of all the negative thoughts I seem to hold on to. I'm so hard on myself. There were so many times I thought I was going to fail out of grad school last year, I was just so consumed by feeling inadequate. Thank God for my support system. In particular, Nia. As my friend she knows I am capable of anything and deserving of so much more than I give myself credit for. She reminds me of that often.

For those of you who may not know Nia is my best friend and business partner. We started GSL and P&J Apparel together. Both have been filled with highs and lows. So much has gone wrong, we keep fighting and hanging on. The GlamSavvy Life is Nia's baby and this year you guys will see who she really is. She's powerful, passionate, yet vulnerable and fragile. She's so human. Can't wait for you guys to get to know her.

I'll be making guest appearances as her best friend. Those appearances will be very stylish ones so no worries.

Most importantly we're looking forward to getting to know you guys. We've been at this for a while it's time to take it to the next level.
